Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of robotic subsystems and industrial machinery.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Conduct rigorous FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and software components.
- Oversee prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in our state-of-the-art lab.
- Manage technical documentation and BOM (Bill of Materials) lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in mechanical design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, specifically in robotics or automated systems.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo) and PDM systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Proven track record of taking products from conceptual design to mass production.
- Expertise in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
