Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Develop detailed CAD models and engineering documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
- Interface with suppliers and prototype facilities for validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in mechanical design with automotive/aerospace focus
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven project management experience with complex systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composites
