Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a multi-shift production team to meet daily throughput targets.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies across the shop floor.
- Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Oversee equipment maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prevent production bottlenecks.
- Develop and mentor junior leads and operators to enhance technical skill sets.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company quality protocols.
- Analyze production data to identify efficiency gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or total quality management.
- Strong technical aptitude with CNC machinery and automated assembly systems.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational conflicts under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
