Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to meet or exceed output targets.
- Implement and monitor Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and optimize cycle times.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate a diverse team of 30+ assembly operators.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility regulations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Control teams to troubleshoot mechanical bottlenecks.
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP software and production tracking tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced industrial setting.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
