Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production floor activities to ensure output targets are met with high quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 40+ production associates and shift leads.
- Monitor KPIs, including OEE, scrap rates, and labor efficiency, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company environmental policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to optimize production scheduling.
- Execute proactive maintenance coordination to minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing or 5S programs.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory and production tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a union or non-union environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is highly preferred.
