Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Manage a team of 40+ operators, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and internal quality control protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new equipment and production techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for material availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing large, diverse production teams.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
