Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a multi-shift production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Implement and monitor Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize production cycles.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility-wide environmental health protocols.
- Manage production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management in coordination with Supply Chain teams.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide mentorship, and facilitate training programs for production staff.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
- Maintain accurate production documentation and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to plant management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of success with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset to address operational challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours and support production needs as required.
