Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and process flow diagrams
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions
- Manage automation integration projects and coordinate with equipment vendors
- Mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and MES systems
- Demonstrated experience with automation and robotics integration
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production data and KPIs
- Excellent project management abilities and leadership experience
