Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production schedules are met with zero deviations.
- Analyze production workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot machinery issues and implement automated solutions.
- Enforce strict quality control protocols and safety regulations (OSHA) to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Mentor junior engineers and floor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in the automotive or heavy machinery sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of optimizing production lines.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changing production demands.
