The Role:
You will be the bridge between engineering design and production execution. Your mission is to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the highest quality standards are met across all manufacturing lines.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle times and increase throughput.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and troubleshoot complex production equipment issues.
- Quality Assurance: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for product defects and implement corrective actions to maintain ISO 9001 standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the production floor.
- Project Management: Oversee capital equipment projects, from initial design to final installation and commissioning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Methodologies: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
