Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Machinery Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on assembly lines and production equipment.
- Automation Integration: Oversee the deployment of new robotic systems and automated workflows to modernize our manufacturing capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce rigorous quality control protocols and statistical process control (SPC) methods to ensure 100% compliance with industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with design, supply chain, and operations teams to align production strategies with broader business goals.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by conducting regular risk assessments and enforcing OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with PLC programming or SCADA systems is a plus.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose root causes of production bottlenecks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to stakeholders.
