Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize output.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure seamless product transitions from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of advanced CNC machinery and automated production equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety regulations, OSHA standards, and internal quality control guidelines.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop data-driven solutions to enhance throughput.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to production line staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt certification highly preferred).
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, robotics, and automated assembly lines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional leadership.
