Responsibilities
- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle times and material waste.
- Oversee daily production schedules and collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure 100% on-time delivery targets are met.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and tooling to support product launches.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex machinery and assembly line issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CNC machining, automated assembly, and robotic integration.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MES/ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
