Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for production bottlenecks and quality deviations using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain) to transition new products from development to mass production.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and safety awareness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production management.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL).
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical teams effectively.
