Responsibilities
- Optimize Production Processes: Analyze current manufacturing workflows and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Equipment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex manufacturing machinery and production lines.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with R&D, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to translate design concepts into scalable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce strict quality control protocols to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing operations adhere to OSHA regulations and internal safety policies, conducting regular risk assessments.
- Project Leadership: Lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades and facility expansions, from conception through final implementation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), PLC programming, and familiarity with CNC machinery.
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and Kaizen principles.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
