Responsibilities
- Design and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models to production environments.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate high-level algorithms into scalable software.
- Optimize neural network performance for low-latency, high-throughput applications.
- Architect robust data pipelines to handle petabyte-scale datasets.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in MLOps and clean code.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the technical vision of the machine learning platform.
- Analyze model performance metrics and iterate on architecture to improve precision/recall.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning or software engineering.
- Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Proven track record of deploying models into high-traffic production environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in an agile, collaborative startup culture.
