Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Implement and leverage advanced supply chain technologies and data analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, developing robust contingency plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in global supply chain operations, including international shipping, customs, and trade compliance.
- Strong command of supply chain software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) and advanced analytical tools.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
