Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to support company growth and market expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and drivers.
- Analyze supply chain data and KPIs to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Implement new technologies and software solutions to streamline warehouse and transportation operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Proven experience in cross-functional team leadership and performance management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and create actionable reports.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Certification (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is highly preferred.
