Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies to optimize warehouse throughput and distribution efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators, dispatchers, and warehouse supervisors.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance audits to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Implement advanced inventory management software and automated reporting systems.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, DOT, and international shipping safety regulations.
- Analyze complex supply chain data to forecast demand and mitigate operational bottlenecks.
- Manage the annual operating budget, focusing on cost-reduction initiatives without compromising service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain leadership.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-velocity distribution centers.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and drive data-backed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
