Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and supply chain analysts.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to optimize freight movement and warehouse throughput.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and carrier partners to ensure service level agreements are exceeded.
- Identify and implement process improvements using Six Sigma or Lean methodology to reduce operational overhead.
- Oversee national inventory distribution and ensure real-time accuracy across multiple warehouse nodes.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights via advanced data analytics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or transportation management.
- Proven expertise in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates).
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets exceeding $5M annually.
- APICS (CSCP/CLTD) certification is highly preferred.
