- Develop vendor relationships with Tier 1 transportation providers across 3 states
- Analyze transportation data to reduce costs by 15% annually while improving service levels
- Oversee compliance with FMCSA regulations and industry safety standards
- Lead digital transformation initiatives using IoT and AI-powered logistics platforms
- Mentor logistics specialists and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics operations
- Proven track record managing fleets of 40+ vehicles and multi-state operations
- Expertise in TMS platforms (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation) and telematics
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in logistics data visualization tools
- FMCSA certification and Hazmat handling credentials preferred
- Experience with sustainability initiatives in transportation (e.g., EV fleet conversions)
- Exceptional leadership abilities with P&L responsibility experience
