Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize inventory flow and reduce lead times.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and domestic freight carriers to ensure cost-efficiency and service level compliance.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety standards (OSHA) and throughput KPIs are consistently met.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable operational improvements.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and inventory analysts.
- Monitor and report on monthly budget performance and operational expenditures.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales departments to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Expert-level proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Demonstrated success in managing logistics budgets exceeding $5M annually.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in SQL, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing remote or hybrid teams.
- APICS (CPIM) or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
