Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the regional operations team to meet KPIs related to warehouse efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Design and implement data-driven logistics strategies to reduce operational bottlenecks and cut shipping costs.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL providers and freight carriers to ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Oversee inventory management systems and implement cycle counting programs to maintain 99.9% accuracy.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental safety standards across all facilities.
- Analyze supply chain metrics to forecast demand and optimize transportation routing schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in high-volume warehouse or transportation management.
- Expertise in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems), specifically SAP or Oracle.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar logistics budgets.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international freight logistics, including LTL/FTL and intermodal shipping.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a remote/hybrid environment.
