Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation and warehousing operations to ensure KPIs are consistently met.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for global freight and last-mile delivery services.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and carrier partners to optimize lead times and service levels.
- Utilize advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to track performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Lead a cross-functional team of dispatchers and warehouse leads to ensure safety and compliance.
- Analyze supply chain data to forecast inventory needs and seasonal volume surges.
- Champion process improvement initiatives to enhance overall warehouse throughput and shipping accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or transportation management.
- Proven expertise in utilizing ERP and TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and international shipping protocols.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI visualization tools.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-modal logistics environment.
