Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize distribution efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including domestic and international freight, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
- Manage relationships with key carrier partners and 3PL providers to secure optimal service-level agreements.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
- Analyze supply chain data using advanced analytical tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain full compliance with federal and state regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and customs requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics management, specifically within high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record of managing complex P&L statements and operational budgets exceeding $5M.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
- Deep knowledge of lean six sigma methodologies and process improvement frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
