Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to streamline inbound and outbound operations.
- Lead and mentor regional operations teams to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and carrier partners.
- Analyze supply chain metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
- Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising service quality.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Implement advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) to boost picking accuracy and fulfillment speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume logistics or distribution environments.
- In-depth knowledge of North American freight markets, transportation regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Proven expertise in utilizing ERP and WMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Six Sigma or APICS certification is highly preferred.
