Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end logistics solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives reducing transportation costs by 15%+ annually
- Oversee fleet management, route optimization, and carrier relationship management
- Develop KPI dashboards and data-driven performance reports for executive stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-border transportation compliance (FDA, DOT, CBP)
- Mentor junior logistics specialists and conduct quarterly process audits
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contracts and SLA management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP TM, Oracle Transportation Management, or Blue Yonder)
- Proven track record optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in logistics analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in reducing transportation costs while improving service levels
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and international trade compliance
