Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to increase throughput and reduce operational overhead.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including fleet coordination and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective process improvements.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage vendor contracts and negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and service level agreement (SLA) adherence.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse management teams to optimize inventory flow and storage utilization.
- Utilize advanced supply chain analytics tools to forecast demand and mitigate logistical risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and multi-site operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA safety standards, and international freight shipping protocols.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
