Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to meet business objectives and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Operational Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze operational costs and identify areas for improvement to drive profitability and efficiency without compromising service quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure contract compliance.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all logistics operations adhere to local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Process Improvement: Leverage data analytics and industry best practices to streamline workflows and implement automation where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software. Strong data analysis and Excel skills are essential.
- Certifications: Professional certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or CSCMP is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make high-impact decisions under pressure.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
