Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to streamline supply chain operations and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee the management of warehouse activities, inventory control, and transportation fleets to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Analyze logistics data and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and vendors to secure the best rates and service levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and customer service, to resolve logistics bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Valid Singapore Work Pass eligibility.
