Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers.
- Manage and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Develop and manage annual logistics budgets and forecast demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and create actionable insights.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
