Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-modal transportation networks for high-volume freight operations
- Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing logistics projects with 99.9% on-time delivery rates
- Manage relationships with carrier partners and negotiate service-level agreements
- Develop sustainability initiatives reducing carbon footprint by 15% annually
- Oversee warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Prepare executive dashboards and KPI reports for stakeholder presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle)
- Proven track record optimizing LTL/FTL shipping routes
- PMP or CPIM certification strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and data visualization tools
- Strong negotiation skills with carrier contracts
- Experience managing $10M+ logistics budgets
