Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 3PL partnerships and in-house distribution centers
- Optimize transportation networks, reducing costs by 15% annually through route analysis and carrier negotiations
- Implement WMS/TMS upgrades to enhance inventory visibility and order fulfillment accuracy
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Develop annual logistics budgets and KPI reporting for executive leadership
- Manage relationships with key vendors and strategic partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics management, including 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Proven track record in cost reduction and process optimization
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
