Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation routing, warehouse management, and inventory control systems
- Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies reducing operational expenses by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between procurement, distribution, and customer fulfillment
- Utilize data analytics to optimize supply chain performance, tracking KPIs like OTIF and inventory turnover
- Negotiate contracts with 3PL providers, carriers, and vendors to secure optimal terms and service levels
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA) and company safety protocols
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including TMS/WMS implementation and IoT integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active preferred)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation required
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics networks and reducing transportation costs
- Strong analytical skills with experience using supply chain analytics tools
- Exceptional project management abilities with demonstrated complex initiative delivery
