Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-modal transportation networks spanning rail, truck, and drone delivery systems
- Optimize fleet operations using predictive analytics and real-time tracking technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in crisis management and supply chain disruption mitigation
- Develop vendor partnerships with Tier 1 carriers and 3PL providers for cost reduction
- Ensure 100% compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international trade regulations
- Drive sustainability initiatives achieving 25% carbon reduction targets
- Oversee $50M+ transportation budget with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor logistics engineers in TMS implementation and route optimization algorithms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive logistics management experience with national/international scope
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder) and IoT fleet management systems
- Proven success in multimodal transportation optimization and cost reduction
- Strong understanding of customs brokerage, cross-border compliance, and INCOTERMS
- Advanced certification in Six Sigma Logistics or CSCP
- Experience managing teams of 15+ logistics professionals
- Data visualization proficiency with Power BI/Tableau for supply chain analytics
