Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to reduce costs while improving delivery performance
- Manage relationships with key transportation vendors and negotiate contracts for optimal rates and services
- Analyze logistics data using advanced analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between procurement, operations, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and customs requirements
- Drive sustainability initiatives in transportation networks to reduce environmental impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Proven track record optimizing multi-modal transportation networks (air, rail, truck, ocean)
- Expertise in logistics technology platforms (TMS/WMS) and data-driven decision making
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex logistics metrics and KPIs
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar designation required
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of NAFTA, customs regulations, and international trade compliance
