Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including inbound/outbound transportation, warehouse management, and inventory control
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain optimization plans using data-driven methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistical bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with 3PL providers and carriers
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FDA regulations and industry best practices
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to monitor KPIs and generate performance reports
- Coordinate disaster recovery plans and contingency strategies for supply chain disruptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in TMS/WMS implementation and optimization (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in logistics metrics and cost analysis
- OSHA and DOT compliance certification required
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with track record of process improvement
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in high-volume distribution environments
