The Role
As the Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will take charge of the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current supply chain processes and implement data-driven solutions to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations coordinators and logistics specialists.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local UAE regulations and international safety standards.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed operational reports and KPI dashboards to track performance and forecast future supply chain needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or freight forwarding within the Middle East region.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and strong Excel skills for data analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
