- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight procurement, route optimization, and carrier management
- Implement data-driven strategies to reduce transportation costs by 15%+ annually
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics challenges and improve service metrics
- Develop and maintain key client relationships while negotiating transportation contracts
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and industry safety standards
- Manage logistics technology platforms (TMS/WMS) and process automation initiatives
- Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Proven track record optimizing multi-modal freight networks
- Expert knowledge of FMCSA regulations and transportation compliance
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (TMS/WMS) and data analytics tools
- Strong negotiation skills with carriers and vendors
- Professional certification (CSCP, CPIM, or CTL) preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
