Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight brokerage, warehousing, and last-mile delivery
- Develop and execute strategic logistics plans with 15% annual cost reduction targets
- Manage relationships with 50+ transportation vendors and carriers
- Implement TMS/WMS technologies and data analytics for route optimization
- Ensure 99.5% on-time delivery performance across 3 distribution centers
- Lead sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction programs
- Mentor logistics team of 12 professionals through performance development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Proven expertise in multi-modal transportation (rail, truck, air, ocean)
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven decision-making experience
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation required
- Excellent negotiation skills with $10M+ vendor contract management experience
