Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end logistics strategies for international supply chains
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation networks
- Drive sustainability initiatives by reducing carbon footprint through green logistics solutions
- Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers
- Implement and manage logistics technology systems (WMS, TMS, IoT)
- Analyze KPIs to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with EU customs regulations and international trade laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive logistics management experience in port-based operations
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing logistics budgets €5M+
- Expert knowledge of EU customs regulations and international trade compliance
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Fluency in English and Dutch; proficiency in additional European languages a plus
