Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency across all channels.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that reduce lead times.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to secure optimal rates.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the logistics department.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in vendor management.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with working knowledge of Dutch preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
