Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and last-mile delivery
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans aligned with business objectives and market demands
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and warehouse partners to ensure service level compliance
- Analyze logistics KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, transportation costs) to identify optimization opportunities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and customer service for seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in logistics/supply chain management with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Certification in APICS CPIM or CSC preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics data modeling and cost-benefit analysis
- Exceptional project management abilities with track record of complex implementation
- Deep knowledge of NAFTA, customs compliance, and international shipping regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives
