Job Description
Join Global Logistics Solutions as a Senior Logistics Manager and lead our innovative supply chain operations in Europe's largest port. You'll drive efficiency across international transportation networks, optimize warehouse systems, and spearhead sustainability initiatives in our dynamic logistics hub.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks
- Develop and implement cost-effective transportation strategies across air, sea, and ground freight channels
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure KPI achievement for delivery accuracy and operational efficiency
- Optimize warehouse layouts and implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure seamless border crossings
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards (ISO 14001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive logistics experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in international transportation management and customs compliance
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics data modeling and KPI optimization
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation required
- Fluency in English and Dutch; proficiency in German or Mandarin advantageous
- Experience managing cross-cultural teams and international vendor networks
