Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, reduce operational costs, and improve delivery times.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize load planning and route scheduling.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, repairs, and fuel procurement.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure fleet performance and driver efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Train junior staff on best practices in logistics and fleet management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and fleet tracking software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
