Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement logistics strategies that reduce costs while improving delivery speed and reliability.
- Carrier Negotiation: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers to secure the best rates and service levels.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with warehousing teams to ensure accurate stock placement and timely fulfillment.
- Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement corrective actions to resolve shipping delays and customs issues.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork are accurate and compliant with international regulations.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze logistics KPIs and generate detailed reports to provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Los Angeles headquarters or our distribution center.
