Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery.
- Analyze shipping routes and costs to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce overhead expenses.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Resolve complex logistics issues and emergencies, such as delays or damage, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Utilize logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track shipments and generate performance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced experience with logistics management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
