Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-modal transportation strategies across 50+ distribution centers
- Leverage AI-powered routing tools to reduce fuel consumption by 15% annually
- Manage relationships with 3PL partners, carriers, and customs brokers
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics bottlenecks and service disruptions
- Analyze KPIs (OTIF, TAT, COGS) and present actionable insights to executive leadership
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and weather-related challenges
- Drive sustainability initiatives through route optimization and alternative fuel adoption
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in transportation/logistics management with LTL/FTL experience
- Expert proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle Transportation)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Power BI capabilities
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation required
- Proven experience managing $5M+ transportation budgets
- Excellent negotiation skills with contract management expertise
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
