Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end logistics plans using TMS platforms for LTL, FTL, and rail shipments
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate contracts to reduce transportation costs by 15%+
- Monitor real-time shipment visibility and proactively resolve transit exceptions
- Analyze KPIs including on-time delivery, freight spend, and carbon emissions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with business objectives
- Implement lean principles to eliminate waste in warehouse and distribution workflows
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in transportation/logistics with multi-modal exposure
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP TM) and route optimization tools
- Certification in CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in freight cost modeling
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for complex routing challenges
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
