As a key player in our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless movement of goods across domestic and international borders. You will act as the bridge between clients, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring that every shipment arrives on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate Shipping Operations: Plan, schedule, and track all inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely delivery.
- Carrier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers and freight forwarders to secure competitive rates.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential delays and implement alternative solutions to mitigate risk.
- Data Analysis: Monitor logistics KPIs, analyze shipping trends, and generate reports to drive process improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure all shipping documentation and customs regulations are strictly followed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan) and transportation management software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
